Funky Twists
— In 1858 a German mathematician, Mr. August Ferdinand Moebius discovered the mathematical property of a moebius strip or band. A very smart woman, Cat Bordhi, figured out how to translate that knowledge into knitting a moebius band. Once I learned how to do it, I was fascinated by the technique and wanted to use it to knit a fun and funky outfit. And here it is! The yarn used is a bamboo/cotton blend and to allow the pieces to move with your body and hug the curves just right the yarn contains 21% elastic. The straps are made with kukui nuts painted in the same lime green found in the yarn. Bright, sexy colors, perfect for a bright, sexy woman. Thank you Mr. Moebius, thank you Ms. Bordhi!
