About My Passion
I love colors, textures, unique items. I love using my hands to create. I came by this love naturally, growing up in a family where every member was artistic and multi talented.
My Granny lived with us when I was little and I have very fond memories of me sitting by her side knitting. Or competing with my sister to see who would be finished first with the scarf or the socks.
Later on I dabbled in crochet and sewing, and although I sometimes combine different techniques, knitting is still my favorite way of expressing myself. Instead of canvass and paint I use yarn, needles, buttons, zippers etc. I choose yarns for their colors, textures and feel, then I intuitively combine different yarns and stitches to end up with a funky, absolutely one of a kind, wearable piece of art.
